Apple Loops from old Logic Pro to Logic Studio

Hi there,

my iMac still run osx 10.7.5 (Mountain Lion).

I'm planning to upgrade to Mavericks, and my question is: moving to Logic Studio is any chance to keep all my old Logic Pro Loops and use them with the new version?

(I have quite a number of songs using specific loops and yes, I know I can save the loops within the songs but I would like not to loose all my library)

I really hope so.

Thanks in advance,

Franz

When you install Logic Pro X, and move Logic Pro 9 to the trash, your legacy loops and plugins will be there. With a few exceptions. Some loops and plugins, a few, simply disappear, because they're not compatible with the way Logic Pro X works under the hood. It is a very worth while upgrade if you're running a new enough Mac, and El Capitan.
